Sue Syder
A procurement professional with over 25 years of experience, both in the public and private sectors. More recently, (last 10 years) Sue has worked as a procurement consultant with different public sector organisations including the NHS, Universities and Parliament. Sue has a practical approach to Procurement activities and can work at both strategic and operational levels. Sue enjoys working as part of a team and has particularly enjoyed working with organisations who are bidding for work in the public sector. After a working career spent mainly in Bristol and London, she is now back living in the North West.
On a personal level, Sue has a brother with complex physical needs and he has benefitted from the support given by Stockport Advocacy for many years. Sue says she is delighted to be both nearer him and to be able to work with Stockport Advocacy on their Board, and she hopes to be able to bring general business and commercial support.
